sunny side of life.

Last weekend and last weekend only..
I got to travel to my favorite sunny state for Troy's very first birthday:]
it was an awesome time from the moment I stepped off the plane.

Troy got Pancakes for his birthday breakfast!
Mihai tried to teach him to blow out the "practice" candle.
he just laughed..adorable.
Saturday was PARTY DAY!
starting off with some much needed best friends and pool side fun!
and then the first birthday party:]

rachel moved into her apartment the week previous

I am so lucky I got to be there for it all :]

this is what I miss from summer...

i love summer.

phoenix to chicago.

After I step off that three hour flight from there to here some things are a little different..
I have magically lost two hours of my time.
the temperature drops about thirty degrees.
the humidity raises about fifty percent.
I spend my days with college kids instead of little kids.
I eat a lot less.
I don't drive at all.
I will spend money on things like books.
And time on things like homework.
I share a bathroom with a bunch of other girls.
Football players bring me up to speed on the already unfolding drama.
I get that ever famous "supermodel and bodyguard," greeting at the world's cutest movie theatre.
"it's funny how you find you enjoy your life when you're happy to be alive."
