I am thankful for Thatcher and it's ability to let me take 31 credits and save hundreds of dollars and have fun!
and I am thankful to be able to move forward with the next big step in my life and move cross country.
but right now I am most thankful to be able to go home and enjoy the love of my family and friends!

What I have learned from and about EAC:
1. you SHOULD use your books...to make a profit.
2.you CAN live with your best friend!
3. no matter how sure you were, thatcher is NOT immune to douches... not even sneaky douches.
4. Casa's and R&R are hidden treasures and you will not find them anywhere else.
5. use the second to last dryer whenever possible.
6. you don't need a boyfriend you just need that guy with the grill...
7. mainstreet will forever and always be cute.
8. my job requires me to take your id...not your room key or phone number.
9. you should triple check before you send "you're adorable." texts.
10. HIDE doudou and seal...always.
11. having a shank in the wall and being shanky are two completely different things.
12. the saying, "ring by spring," isn't a joke for some. ..seriously.
13. planning to only eat soup and what is left in your apartment starting after thanksgiving might not be a diet but you will lose weight.
14. if you paint a sugar skull for Día de los Muertos expect it to get licked. a lot. even after you spray lysol and hairspray on it.
15. and finally always remember EA is like it's own little magical world. and is nothing like real life.

1week+homework+work+three exams+eight finals= one crazy girl.

sometimes Meigen and Cody go crazy and break a pot with a cactus in it that used to live on our porch.
so I decide we should plant it by the chocolate river.
and we do.
(Ethan also smiles when he is not in pictures but people say, "SMILE!")


sometimes I meet a giant boy.
who is a 6'5" huge football player who has the most interesting life story.
and of course speaks fluent french.
but might be too skeezy..or maybe I was just spoiled.


sometimes boys come into my room and ask my roommate if they can make her bed with no shirts on.
because of course they lost a beat.
sometimes they also take out our trash, which is nice.


sometimes I go to mexico for a day to celebrate Dia de los Muertos.
and eat delicious authentic mexican food.


sometimes my two favorite tempe girls come to visit the little town of thatcher for halloween and homecoming!
and we have soooo much fun.


sometimes when my best friends are all in thatcher we go to watch fireworks, polynesian dancers, and a huge bonfire.



sometimes we go to the EAC homecoming game.
and only last til halftime.
and we only last that long because they gave us free candy and pompoms.


sometimes on halloween our apartments have a huge block party.
we dress up and get our groove on.


sometimes we go to the middle of nowhere with Ashli and Josh.
where boys make us hot chocolate, light a fire, tell us scary stories, show us a scary movie and bring us home at 4am.

It is completely crazy what can happen and who you meet in a simple small town.

every single day Thatcher surprises me more and more.

I heard this song on the radio while writing this..

now I can't find it anywhere but the chorus goes like this..

dont out smart your common sense

only in thacher..

would the whole school shut down for the FAIR.
yes, you heard me right WE DIDN'T HAVE SCHOOL YESTERDAY BECAUSE THERE WAS A FAIR!
So obviously that left us with only one thing to do...GO TO THE FAIR!!
