that's sunshine through my window:]

today is the first time in a long that I have seen the sun.

It is bright and beautiful and I have missed it so much.

and yesterday I got a valentine's day package from grandma.

it doesn't get much better than that.

I finally checked my voicemail. THIRTY new messages. (new personal record.)
Chicago is officially too freezing for me..tomorrow's high is like seven.
I have been ready for summer and heat since probably the 7th of January.
This year will be the first year of my life (that I can remember)
that I will not be home for my birthday..
THIS SUNDAY I APPLY FOR CAMPUS HOUSING FOR THE LAST TIME!!!
There is no part of my being that can cheer for the bears.
so this sunday, go packers. (sorta)
It's been over two years, but this semester
I am using a notebook that has notes from NAU in it.
and my NAU sweater is still the most comfy.
(best thing that came out of that year.)
Next semester is the last semester I will have to buy textbooks!
Lately I miss Thatcher a surprising amount.
I have been thinking a lot about happy memories. ..
And I have decided to make some more:]

I have gotten a piece as a gift every year since I can remember.

A lot of TOMS were given as gifts this year!

Grandma, Grandpa, Troy and Becca all got pairs:]

It is a glorious thing that on Christmas morning

you can draw with sidewalk chalk in your pajamas and bare feet

in the sunshine:]

Troy helped grandpa play the guitar and got really good at opening presents!

we tried crushed candy cane on some of the divinity this year.

(candy not pictured but definitely made: fudge, chocolate covered cherries, and carmel.)

I have discovered a new Christmas cookie must.

they are so very delicious!
