du da da dum.

This is my newest happy song.
it's just one of those songs that makes me want to dance
just like I used to with my old roommate;]
"we'll watch the world from above,
as it turns to the rhythm of love.
we my only have tonight
but til the morning sun you're mine, all mine.
play the music love and sway to the rhythm of love.
when the moon is low we can dance in slow motion.
and all your tears will subside and all your tears will dry
.
"

here are some other thing that make me happy and dance-y.

a chocolate ice cream cone!
and (although you can't tell in black and white)
a fall-asleep-on-the-beach-for-hours tan:]

my most studly and adorable nephew.
who will soon be ONE!

my best friend and the beach!

AND I am so blessed to have many, many others.
:] have a happy song dance-y sort of day!

peace, love and a tune.

They song this song in Chapel today and somehow it seemed appropriate..
It's beautiful today although the day is a sad one.

God loves a lullaby
In a mothers tears in the dead of night
Better than a Hallelujah sometimes.
God loves the drunkards cry,
The soldiers plea not to let him die
Better than a Hallelujah sometimes.

We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Beautiful the mess we are
The honest cries of breaking hearts
Are better than a Hallelujah.

The woman holding on for life,
The dying man giving up the fight
Are better than a Hallelujah sometimes
The tears of shame for what's been done,
The silence when the words won't come
Are better than a Hallelujah sometimes.

Better than a church bell ringing,
Better than a choir singing out, singing out.

close to fall.

here in my world of Concordia..

(when Dingman and Kasey get to play on the field at the same time!)

Kasey and his diva pose.
(and check out that score!)
country roads with cute little bridges:]

that lead to cute little country farm fairs!
with hayrides:]
and (not pictured) cute old soda pop.
a flea circus, magic show, and games.

and cute old fashion cowboys:]
I think I am going to like fall.

phoenix to chicago.

(last day in ptown.)
After I step off that three hour flight from there to here some things are a little different..

I have magically lost two hours of my time.
the temperature drops about thirty degrees.
the humidity raises about fifty percent.
I spend my days with college kids instead of little kids.
I eat a lot less.
I don't drive at all.
I will spend money on things like books.
And time on things like homework.
I share a bathroom with a bunch of other girls.
Football players bring me up to speed on the already unfolding drama.
I get that ever famous "supermodel and bodyguard," greeting at the world's cutest movie theatre.
"it's funny how you find you enjoy your life when you're happy to be alive."

my lately.

I am alive.

I have moved!
I spend my days with children.
I feel like I never have enough sleep.
I went to california and slept on the beach.
I became an intense party-er for two days straight.
I get beautiful flowers.
The boys at work (all of them.) ask me to the intern dance.(which is not real.)
by writing me love notes and songs, bringing me sunflowers,
serenading me in public, making me cakes, and giving me rings.
and basically totally embarrassing me.
I feel like I am always late.
I destroy the passenger rear view mirror on my car.
I love that my job is bringing kids to Jesus
and cry when the church thinks that is an acceptable budget cut.
I hurt my arm doing motions for the VBS theme songs. and feel pathetic.
I steal internet from the neighbor and it usually doesn't work.
I watch my nephew take real steps!
I need to see my best friends more.
I wish summer was endless...
